Allotment Shed Break In

It has finally happened.  A witness saw a male Friday (27th March) morning around 5am break into 3 sheds and 2 greenhouses.  Both my shed and my greenhouse were raided.

Everything is all go now down the allotment.  90% is ready for planting in, the other 10% just needs rotavating.  I am digging a trench 1 spit deep and wide so the weeds from the ’shared footpaths’ do not keep coming underground back onto the plot.  The plan is that I’ll see the weeds and they’ll [...]

Maran & Cochin Eggs

A few more eggs I am going to put in 1 of the incubators.  They are laid by either a Maran, Cochin or a Maran x Cochin.  Very nice dark brown eggs.

Early Potatoes Chitted

The potatoes I set in the bedroom to chit have done so, very well.

 
I hope to plant them out in the next 2 weeks once we have seen the last (hopefully) of any frosty weather.
